Lok Choon Hong
Mr Lok Choon Hong is a qualified lawyer (non-practising) for Malaysia and Singapore and a registered patent, trademark and industrial design agents for Malaysia. He has been actively involved in the intellectual property (IP) field for the past twenty (20) years. He was awarded the world’s top 1000 patent practitioners by the world’s top 1000 patent practitioners by IAM magazine from year 2013 to 2023 and an awardee of IPSTARs award by Managing IP Magazine in 2019 2023 & 2023 for the world top 300 IP strategists.
Mr Lok holds a Master of Laws Degree from University of Cambridge, United Kingdom, an executive MBA degrees from INSEAD, France/Singapore and E-MBA from Tsinghua University, China.
Apart from IP agency and consultancy works, Mr Lok is also actively involved in angel capital investment in IP based companies in Malaysia, Singapore and China. Currently, Mr Lok is the Chair of AIPO Business Angels Club and a partner of AIPO Deep Tech Venture Capital Fund.

Patrick Chow
Mr Patrick Chow graduated from the National University of Singapore in 1980. He was called to the Singapore Bar in 1981, qualifying as an Advocate & Solicitor of the Supreme Court of Singapore. He is a member of the Singapore Institute of Arbitrators.
Mr Patrick Chow is a senior legal practitioner of 33 years standing having been in active practice since 1985 when he set up his boutique legal practice dealing in both civil and criminal work. The main areas of his practice include Property Law, Intellectual Property Dispute, Corporate Law, Domestic and Civil Litigation.
He has for many years been a part time lecturer in Company Law and Commercial Law for examinees sitting for their ACCA qualifications. He was also a course instructor in Company Law courses organized by the Extramural Department of the National University of Singapore in the early years of his practice.
He holds directorship in PINTAS Pte Ltd, a boutique firm providing intellectual property service in the registration of patents, copyright, trademarks and industrial design. He actively promotes awareness of intellectual property by delivering many talks in Chinese and English to a great number of small and medium enterprises in various organizations including the Chinese Chambers of Commerce.
In the course of his practice, numerous cases of his were reported in the Chinese newspapers and the Straits Times. There was a write up featuring Mr Patrick Chow on his talk on the enhancement of business value by the use of intellectual property in the Lian He ZaoBo (6 July 2006).

John Hepworth
Mr. John Hepworth is a qualified UK and European patent attorney for over thirty five years. He is the founding partner of Hepworth Lawrence Bryer and Bizley and now “of counsel” to Hepworth Browne. John Gan
Mr. John Gan is a Canadian and has over 35 years of international hands-on experience working in the Financial Services industry. He has held senior leadership positions across multiple sectors including investment banking, money markets, foreign exchange, insurance and capital markets. He was a corporate executive and senior officer for several multinational companies, including as Asia’s Head of Agency Development for global insurer Allianz, where he was responsible for eight countries and 50,000 sales agents.
John founded and led 360 Blockchain Inc., a Canadian publicly listed company; and 360 Securities Ltd., a registered exempt market securities dealer. He is also currently a Special Advisor to the Canadian Securities Exchange.
Throughout his career, he has acquired a wealth of experience and expertise while achieving milestones and success for his companies. With his rich international management and leadership skills and global perspective on money, finance and investment, John is currently seeking great business opportunities in the growing economies in the Asia Pacific region.

Lok Lee Yin
Ms. Lok has been a US Patent Agent since 2007 and helped to establish the Pintas US office in 2008. She received her B.S in Applied Science from University of Science of Malaysia in 2000 with a major in Analytical Chemistry and minor in Management. She started her career as a Quality Officer at Plexus in 2001 before joining Pintas IP Group as a patent engineer in 2004.
Ms. Lok has many years of experience in the preparation, prosecution and e-filing of U.S. patent, trademark applications
and general patent counseling. She also has vast experience in handling US patent and design applications into Malaysia.

Tay Yeo King
Since year 2000, Tay YK has been assisting inventors prepare patent specifications, prosecuting and obtaining patents and design registrations in Singapore, Malaysia, US, Europe, amongst others, and also before WIPO. His areas in patents cover mechanical, materials, electrical and electronic engineering, internet-of-things, software processes, process methods, business methods, and other inter-disciplines. Prior to joining the intellectual property industry, Tay YK spent his initial career in engineering design and disk substrate development.

Ms. Lee Jia Ee is a registered Patent, Trademark and Industrial Design Agent in Malaysia. She holds a Bachelor of Biomedical Engineering (Hons) degree with a major in Biomechanics from the University of Melbourne, Australia. Her expertise lies in the areas of mechanical engineering, information technology, biomedical engineering etc. She is experienced in handling IP portfolios for MNCs and SMEs. Pung Tzzy Shan
Ms. Pung Tzyy Shan graduated with a Master of Chemical Instrumentation and a Bachelor’s Degree of Applied Science (Industrial Chemistry). As a patent engineer with strong chemistry background, she is
specialized in conducting prior art searches and specification drafting related to chemical composition, chemical instruments and manufacturing processes. Loo How Jie (Eddy)
Mr. Loo How Jie holds a Bachelor’s Degree of Science (Hons) Actuarial Science and another Bachelor Degree of Science (Physics) from University of Newcastle. Terrence Leow Zhi Quan
As the Partner of LCW LAW ASSOCIATES, Mr. Leow is responsible for handling cases with domestic and foreign clients on a daily basis. In addition, he has rich daily practical experience in the field of intellectual property rights. Mr. Leow is the legal counsel for many listed companies, foreign trade companies, and technology groups at home and abroad. Wu Zhenyu
Mr Wu has 4 years working at Computer Network Information Center Chinese Academy of Sciences in Guangzhou, responsible for research on Internet of Things related technologies, prototype system research, application for scientific and technological projects, implementation of scientific and technological projects, familiar with the procedures of standard project establishment, writing, and approval; good at refining standard language, strong writing ability; participated in the research work of national ministries, localities and other related standards.

Tai Zhi Sam
Mr. Tai Zhi Sam holds a Master of Science in Analytical and Pharmaceutical Chemistry from International Medical University and a Bachelor of Science (Hons) in Pharmaceutical Sciences from the University of Strathclyde, United Kingdom.
While completing his Master’s degree, he was sub-contracted in 2016 by the Ministry of Agriculture and Agro-based Industry of Malaysia and International Medical University in a joint research project as a Preclinical Trial Research Associate under the National Key Economic Areas Research Grant Scheme. Following completion of the project, he underwent a 6-months veterinary medical laboratory technologist training program in 2018 before joining the Patent Department at PINTAS as a patent engineer in the following year.
Presently, he handles patent work including novelty searches, specification drafting related to chemistry and biotechnology besides responding to Office Actions. At the same time, he is undergoing in-house training to prepare and sit for the Malaysian Patent Agent Examination.

Dr. Chua Chuen Yang
Dr. Chua Chuen Yang holds a Doctor of Philosophy in Biotechnology, Master of Philosophy in Biotechnology, and Bachelor of Science (Hons.) in Biotechnology.
His research expertise lies in the areas of soil bacterial diversity, molecular genomics, next-generation sequencing and bioinformatics. Throughout his studies, he successfully published four journal articles in ISI and SCOPUS indexed journals.

Edmond Ho Sien Lok
Mr. Edmond Ho Sien Lok is a graduate with first-class honors in BEng in Chemical Engineering from UCSI University. He currently works as a patent engineer, specializing in tasks such as conducting patent novelty search reports, drafting patent specifications, and responding to office actions.
Wong Teng Lik
Mr. Wong Teng Lik holds a Bachelor of Laws, LLB (Hons) degree from The University of London, United Kingdom. Mr. Wong joined Pintas Consulting Group in year 2022.
As a member of the legal team, Mr. Wong is in responsible for trademark prosecution matters. His responsibilities encompass providing client advice on trademark laws and procedures. Furthermore, Mr. Wong drafts submissions to overcome the refusal of trademark applications when office action is required. He is also in charge of assisting the legal department to draft, vet, negotiate and ensure all contract and legal documents are up-to-date and compliant with statutory laws.
At the same time, Mr. Wong is undertaking Certificate in Legal Practice (CLP) Examination to obtain professional qualifications as an advocate & solicitor.

Dr Manju Sarkar
Dr Manju has been working in the areas of patent specification drafting and patent prosecution for the last 14 years, in the fields of electronics, electrical, mechanical, semiconductors and integrated circuits (fabrication process, device, equipment, packaging and the like).
Dr Manju has worked with the semiconductor industry for over 25 years and has made a significant contribution in the areas of semiconductor fabrication process and design of CMOS, Bipolar and passive devices. She is an inventor and co-inventor for several patents. She has authored and co-authored several technical publications in international journals and conferences.
Dr Manju has a PhD (Microelectronics) from Indian Institute of Science (IISc), Bangalore, India, a Master of Technology (Materials Science, specialization in Semiconductors), from Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), India and a Master of Science (Physics), from IIT, India. She also has a Graduate Certificate In Intellectual Property (GCIP) from National University of Singapore.

Yong Bo Yee
Ms. Yong Bo Yee holds an LL.B (Hons) degree from the University of Liverpool, U.K. Upon obtaining her Certificate in Legal Practice (CLP) in 2017 in one attempt, she commenced her pupillage in 2018 and was admitted to the Malaysian Bar as an Advocate and Solicitor of the High Court of Malaya on 28th February 2019. Ms Yong has extensive experience in the area of intellectual property law, which spans from copyright, trademark and patent infringement disputes, local and foreign registrations of intellectual property, and advisory work. In addition to intellectual property law, she has amassed considerable experience in other practice areas such as commercial law, probate and estate laws and property law.
Ms. Yong has been involved in the preparing, drafting and vetting of a substantial range of legal documents, among which are business contracts and corporate and commercial agreements. These include share sale agreements, subscription agreements, shareholder agreements, non-disclosure agreements, joint-venture agreements, terms and conditions, privacy policies, assignment agreements, licensing agreements, tenancy agreements, wills, and sale and purchase agreements.
