Mr Lok Choon Hong is a qualified lawyer (non-practising) for Malaysia and Singapore and a registered patent, trademark and industrial design agents for Malaysia. He has been actively involved in the intellectual property (IP) field for the past twenty (20) years. He was awarded the world’s top 1000 patent practitioners by the world’s top 1000 patent practitioners by IAM magazine from year 2013 to 2023 and an awardee of IPSTARs award by Managing IP Magazine in 2019 2023 & 2023 for the world top 300 IP strategists.

Mr Patrick Chow graduated from the National University of Singapore in 1980. He was called to the Singapore Bar in 1981, qualifying as an Advocate & Solicitor of the Supreme Court of Singapore. He is a member of the Singapore Institute of Arbitrators.
Mr Patrick Chow is a senior legal practitioner of 33 years standing having been in active practice since 1985 when he set up his boutique legal practice dealing in both civil and criminal work. The main areas of his practice include Property Law, Intellectual Property Dispute, Corporate Law, Domestic and Civil Litigation.
He has for many years been a part time lecturer in Company Law and Commercial Law for examinees sitting for their ACCA qualifications. He was also a course instructor in Company Law courses organized by the Extramural Department of the National University of Singapore in the early years of his practice.
He holds directorship in PINTAS Pte Ltd, a boutique firm providing intellectual property service in the registration of patents, copyright, trademarks and industrial design. He actively promotes awareness of intellectual property by delivering many talks in Chinese and English to a great number of small and medium enterprises in various organizations including the Chinese Chambers of Commerce.

Mr. John Gan is a Canadian and has over 35 years of international hands-on experience working in the Financial Services industry. Ms. Lok has been a US Patent Agent since 2007 and helped to establish the Pintas US office in 2008. She received her B.S in Applied Science from University of Science of Malaysia in 2000 with a major in Analytical Chemistry and minor in Management. She started her career as a Quality Officer at Plexus in 2001 before joining Pintas IP Group as a patent engineer in 2004.

Mr. Tai Zhi Sam holds a Master of Science in Analytical and Pharmaceutical Chemistry from International Medical University and a Bachelor of Science (Hons) in Pharmaceutical Sciences from the University of Strathclyde, United Kingdom.
While completing his Master’s degree, he was sub-contracted in 2016 by the Ministry of Agriculture and Agro-based Industry of Malaysia and International Medical University in a joint research project as a Preclinical Trial Research Associate under the National Key Economic Areas Research Grant Scheme. Following completion of the project, he underwent a 6-months veterinary medical laboratory technologist training program in 2018 before joining the Patent Department at PINTAS as a patent engineer in the following year.
